I think Katy Perry has a warped idea of what the Teenage Dream really is.
For me, at least, I am happy with knowing that:
I am forgiven and loved by the God who made this universe.
I am loved by family and true friends who will stick beside me, no matter what.
I am blessed with a beautiful life full of crazy moments, laughter, hugs and heart to heart talks with people I love.
I live in a country where small bits of freedom are still free.
I can sing and dance and laugh and my friends will never make fun of me.

I love this post- my teenage dream is pretty much the same. :) A few minutes ago I was just thinking about it, because on TV I heard her song come on for a toddler clothing commercial... I mean, seriously?

I like that song, (I am a Christian) i don't really listen to it that much because of her idea of the teenage dream. It's inappropriate, and so not true. at least for me!

Your teenage dream is much like mine. Katy Perry certainly has a...different approach to life, but all the more reason to pray for her. But I disagree with her song very much.
